Eventus Education: Virginia Lead Qualification Pathway Training is a comprehensive professional development course created by Eventus Education for educators within our schools who are interested in becoming qualified for Lead Teacher or Program Leader positions within licensed child day centers in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This training is designed to support current staff members who are looking to advance their careers in early childhood education while meeting Virginia licensing standards, including requirements outlined in 8VAC20-780-210 Program Leader Qualifications.
Through this engaging and interactive training, participants will gain foundational knowledge in child development, health and safety, classroom leadership, behavior guidance, playground safety, professionalism, and mandated reporting. Educators will explore developmentally appropriate practices while strengthening the skills needed to confidently lead a classroom environment that supports the growth and well-being of young children.
This Eventus Education training is ideal for assistant teachers, aides, and aspiring early childhood professionals within our organization who would like to work toward becoming lead qualified in Virginia licensed child care programs. Upon successful completion, participants will be one step closer to meeting Virginia’s lead teacher qualification requirements and further developing their professional skillset in the field of early childhood education.
