Welcome to the Virginia Child Care Leadership Pathway – Toddlers. This 24-hour professional development pathway is designed to strengthen your knowledge and skills in supporting toddlers ages 12–36 months during this important stage of growth and development.
Throughout the pathway, you will explore toddler development, positive guidance, health and safety, communication, learning through play, and building strong partnerships with families. By completing this pathway, you will gain practical strategies to create safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environments that foster confidence, independence, and lifelong learning.
